Yes. With loop recording enabled, Witnessy runs in the background until you turn it off.
Does it record during phone calls? ⌄
No, during phone calls the app disables recording
How much battery does it use? ⌄
It depends on your device. In our tests, it used about 6–10% battery per 24 hours.
Loop recording stopped—why? ⌄
Sometimes Android can stop background services. We recommend excluding Witnessy from battery optimization.
When is iOS coming? ⌄
Unfortunately, iOS currently doesn't allow this type of app.
Is continuous recording legal? ⌄
In most countries, yes—if you are a participant in the conversation. However, the creator of Witnessy is not responsible for illegal use. Check your local laws before using it.
